Default instance difficulty vs character level?

Does instance difficulty updates with character level?

I am asking this because I am planning to do the original campaign, then the fractions campaign and then the nighfall with the same character. But maybe it will become to easy other than from the lasts quests of each campaign?

Instance difficulty doesn't update with character level. Although if you plan on crossing a character over from Prophecies to Factions and then Nightfall, you'll find that when you insert into Factions and Nightfall you won't be starting at the beginning of the campaigns. Instead, you'll start at a later point where native characters would either be level 20 or getting close to level 20, so you won't get much of an easy ride after stepping off the boat (you still have the option to do the earlier, easy missions too though you won't get any XP or skillpoint rewards for doing so). The challenge will still be there as you push forward into the other campaigns.

Instances do get harder as you progress through the campaigns, especially when you unlock Hard Mode (as opposed to normal mode, which becomes unlocked upon completion of a campaign). Average creatures are about level 24+ and in some elite areas can be level 32!

Some areas have environmental effects such as "Each spell you use causes exhaustion." or "Your team has a 50% chance to miss with attacks" but they're generally restricted to elite areas.

For the most part, general PvE doesn't increase in difficulty when you reach level 20, monsters will pretty much be in and around level 20.

In NF and Factions, the level crossovers are about right, while in Proph, Most characters wouldnt be beyond level 15 when they reach the crossover point, and enemies range from about 10-18, so youve got the right idea starting with proph.

The biggest factor that will impact how easy the campaigns will be for you is the presence of skills that weren't originally available for that campaign. For example, if you go through prophecies after Factions, and you utilize some of the pve-only skills from Factions, you will find the enemies in prophecies are at a much greater disadvantage.

Or if you do Nightfall first, then Prophecies, you'll have access to heroes for prophecies.

So, if you want to play Prophecies as close to the way it was originally played, definitely do it first. It will take you the longest, however.

Nope.

Normal/Hard Modes, along with some quests(like the Titan quests, don't click unless you want to be spoiled) will effect instance difficulty though.
